« I cover what I love » is a series of my drawings.By wrapping the objects with my hair in my drawings, I want to create a visual narrative that speaks to the importance of preserving and safeguarding culture and heritage for future generations. It becomes a poetic gesture of protection and invites you to reflect on the value and significance of these cultural treasures. In some of the drawings, by creating an imaginary animal, I bridge the real and the imaginary, much like how my paintings blend abstract and surreal forms with cultural narratives. This approach allows for a deeper exploration of themes such as identity, memory, and the unseen forces that shape our lives. The imaginary animal, covered in hair, serves as a metaphor for the hidden and intangible aspects of culture that we carry with us, often unseen but profoundly influential.
